Every day at G&C Foods, we embark on our work with our Mission firmly in sight. This is what sets G&C apart from our competitors and motivates us to continually devise innovative solutions to meet our customers' needs. Our Mission extends to assisting our Vendor Partners in bringing their products to market.
The construction of our new 254,000 SF facility marks another milestone in fulfilling our Mission. This facility will enable us to enhance the value we provide to our Customers and Vendor Partners by minimizing transportation costs and positioning products closer to our customers. Consequently, we can refine our delivery schedules, enabling our customers to benefit from just-in-time inventory. We recognize that timely product availability empowers you to concentrate on your business without concerns about expanding warehouse and storage space, which can be financially burdensome and affect your competitiveness by increasing overhead costs.
Furthermore, our new facility enables us to reduce transportation expenses for our Vendor Partners. Situated in the southeast, we are now in closer proximity to many of our key vendors. This reduction in inbound transportation costs enables us to competitively price your products in the market.
However, achieving our Mission isn't solely about the new facility; it's about the exceptional efforts of the G&C Team. This is why we're actively developing a plan to infuse the G&C culture into the Southeast and our new facility. We're investing in Leadership Training for teams transitioning to Alachua and those remaining in Syracuse. Our aim is to foster a "ONE TEAM" mindset, ensuring that regardless of the warehouse they engage with, our Customers and Vendor Partners receive consistent, outstanding service.
We're also diligently working to integrate our technology across both facilities to facilitate seamless operations. At G&C, we've always been pioneers in leveraging technology to work efficiently and deliver exceptional value.
