Beef Deserves a Prime Partner: The G&C Foods Commitment

Beef has long been a staple in diets around the globe and continues to be popular across diverse consumer segments. Being a delicious and versatile protein that is easily applied to a multitude of culinary traditions, beef succeeds as a key commodity in the food industry. For distributors, this presents a dependable product in consistent demand, reflecting its status as both a culinary essential and a sound investment. Here at G&C Foods, we specialize in beef as a commodity. Our expertise is built on extensive product knowledge, comprehensive insight into current trends in agricultural practices and standards, along with fundamental understanding of quality assurance down to the packer level. From cattle pricing to trends in consumer-packaged goods and demand, we study beef and its impacts globally.

We distinguish ourselves in a multitude of ways, including our unmatched variety and accessibility of beef products — we carry far more selection than most redistributors. This is because we’re always buying beef, and ready to make a deal. We never close our doors, and our best-in-class buyers are always comparing notes to ensure we are buying and selling at the best opportunity for our customers and ourselves — so everyone benefits. Regularly reviewing and amending our product catalog is routine, so we can ensure consistency and reliable selections. No matter what you’re looking to buy, any cut, prime through utility, you can find it with us under a multitude of brands to choose from.

Our decades-strong relationships within the beef industry give us the capacity to sustain this product range. Having started as a commodity business focused on beef, we’ve built a deep expertise in this category, which continues to be the backbone of our offerings even as we’ve expanded into other areas. We offer staples such as ribeye, PSMOs, and striploins, ground beef, sirloin flap, briskets & offals including oxtails, tripe, and everything in between.

In addition to our vast offerings, we have deep ties in the food industry and Certified Angus Beef®. Aside from G&C Foods being a licensed distributor of Certified Angus Beef®, our CEO Kip Palmer is one of the longest standing board members. This allows us to have a unique understanding and connection at the heart of the beef industry. Through relationships like these, we are consistently immersed in and amending our knowledge on best practices and the future of beef as an industry.

2024 Beef Bash Conference with Certified Angus Beef®

We put our customers first every day, from purchase to delivery. We understand our customer’s challenges, and as a result are always looking for innovative ways to streamline their processes and offer guidance. Our programs are built to alleviate pain points, so it’s easier to buy from us — no worrying about minimums, pricing, or licensing. As an example, our split box beef program was created to help streamline our customer’s processes when selling piece by piece isn’t an option. Through this program, our beef is packaged to help our customers that aren’t UDSA certified, so they can sell smaller quantities.

We also offer market analysis and conference calls, as we speculate on the future of beef. There are many ways you can engage us directly when it comes to expertise on this category, including one on one beef trainings with our staff, and arranging plant tours. Going beyond transactions to ensure that our partners can flourish if the lifeblood of our values, which we aim to uphold in everything we do. Whether you’re looking to purchase or sell beef, do not hesitate to reach out. We treasure our partnerships and take the time to nurture them. Whether we are hosting an event, meeting you or hosting a visit at one of our facilities — we always do our best to accommodate your needs and make you feel at home.
